Crash to desktop right after hearing the "Start your engines" on the Le Mans special event right now. Had others bugs on the others races (stuck on box without pitstop happening) but this is new.

I've tried multiple times to play Le Mans Ultimate, but I keep experiencing persistent Bugsplat crashes. The first time I purchased the game (prior to v1.0), it crashed so often that I refunded it on Steam. I recently bought it again after the release of version 1.01. While things have improved a bit, the game still crashes mid-session.


To reduce load, I set almost all graphics settings to low, except:

• Circuit Detail: Ultra
• Texture Detail: Ultra
• Texture Filter: X16 Anisotropic

Even with these settings, the game crashes randomly.
In practice mode, when I’m alone on track, FPS reaches 300 but fluctuates heavily down to around 200. Because of this, I capped the FPS at 120 – but even then, the game still crashes and closes suddenly.


My GPU usage stays around 90–100%, while my CPU rarely goes above 30%.
The game keeps closing out of nowhere with a Bugsplat crash.


Can anyone help?

When did it happen? / What were you doing when it happened? :Regularly Monza 1h. I drive then black screen then stop the sound and return to the windows with gear box that opens.
Can you reproduce reliably? If so, how? of this year's files (dmp). No, it happens randomly. Every time the game crashes, I fill out the dialogue box and send it.

After practice session ends, goes to black screen.
Was fine prior to v1.0 no issues, After v1.0 screen would freeze but menus not selectable, now just blacks screen and have to end task.
Have tried disabling plugins in JSON file, new Win10 install, multiple LMU installs all for this one sim.
Can you reliably reproduce? If so how?: Go into an online practice session and wait for timer to end. I don't register anymore due to ratings loss but it still happens at the end of practice.
I have all the sims, only LMU is this problematic, rFactor2 is significantly better for online using a similar system.

When did it happen? / What were you doing when it happened?: Happened tonight as I went to the daily practice server for the online race at SPA. First time I was able to drive for 10 minutes I would say before it CTD. Second time I had the CTD just after a few seconds after I started driving then third time immediatly as I entered the car.

When did it happen? / What were you doing when it happened?: Single player at turn 12 of COTA. Full 2025 grid, driving the Mustang. This was as the Hypercars were coming through the GT3 field. Not every lap, but always at T12. Could be related to Hypercar AI dealing with traffic?
Can you reliably reproduce? If so how?: Hit adn miss, but as above, often happens when AI are lapping the field, turn 12 at COTA. 1 lap was a slight freeze, the next was a massive freeze for about a second or two, thought the game was going to crash but it recovered.

When did it happen? / What were you doing when it happened?: The game suddenly freezes during a practice session for ELMS Sprint Cup on Imola. The session timer said there were about 30 seconds still on the clock. But many people were already leaving the session. Whilst racing on track, the game froze. The FFB was still on and my steering wheel wanted to continue to turn to the bump stop.
Can you reliably reproduce? If so how?: Probably not, but could try when a practice session is about to end and potentially people leaving.
Attach trace & dump file (if applicable): Unfortunately, I cannot find the lmu_retailsbid.dmp, my apologies. Maybe because I close the game before I did that?

Since the servers were split by continent, my teammates and I frequently get kicked off the server during races, both team and non-team.
It happened at Le Mans (twice today), Spa, Algarve and Fuji (rain - team race).
I had a ping of 45ms.
In Lusail, I raced regularly and had a ping of 105 in grid.
Can you reliably reproduce? If so how?: It happened at Le Mans (twice today)

Game froze on the main straight of La Sarthe in the middle of the stint during single player. The screen froze, but sound and ffb was fine. Replay runs normally and just shows me hitting the wall. Not happened before.

I'm getting so many crashes over Christmas. Had a very similar experience to Toikka above at Le Mans, Monza just flat out won't load for me and will crash at 20/21% load. Sent all the error reports that come up with the bugsplat report but posting here too and will send a support ticket tomorrow. Have tried with anti cheat disabled and with plug ins disabled to no avail.
