Expected tire wear for all compounds

There should be some difference in percentage in tire wear per lap right between different tire compounds? The soft tire should have the most, and the hardest the least wear. Its logical, right?

That's a head scratcher for me. What I have learned is tyre selection is based on track temps. A hard will be faster over the life of the tyre than a soft if the track is very hot, for eg. As for 10% per lap, this doesn't seem right unless tyre ware has been X up here. I've done a full stint in co-op where the tyres had 90% at the end.

Maybe you need to go out on each one during practice so they can calculate this correctly.
