Further information and reports are needed to assist development with a fix
Had the same issues with driver swaps at the 6 Hour COTA. 4 failed driver swaps where a driver was swapped into the car successfully although had no HUD, inputs appear to work but the car never moved. Had to force quit the game for another driver to take control.
2 different drivers failed twice each.

・The bug occurred during the second driver swap (swap from my teammate to myself)

・Before pressing “Take control,” the screen transitioned to a replay-like state and became completely unresponsive to any input (including the ESC key).

・The game had to be force-closed.

More a feature request than a bug: We had reverse gear pre-selected after a driver swap, which caused some surprise, when overlooked. It would be better to pre-select the first gear.
 
Stability is the #1 concern. CPU spikes are being reported everywhere along with complete game freezes either temporary or complete hard computer freeze requiring hard reboot. The only chance many of us have is creating a massive amount of overhead for the CPU but shutting down most other computer processes, turning everything to low, etc. In my case work and i7-13700kf it means turning off processor affinity on efficiency cores to prevent LMU from using them, and turning my VR settings so low o have 40+ % CPU overhead. Another driver in our team experiences FFB failures in the last month that, when FFB reset it is pushed to fix it completely locks the game.

Literally nothing right now is as important as stability and once that's done finishing the engineer implementation should be top priority. At this point. I honestly think the ELMS stuff should be postponed while the core game is made to be more computer friendly.

Yesterday we took part in the COTA race and faced a serious issue during the driver swap stint. While driving with Erich Terezzino, everything was running smoothly with no lag or performance drops.

However, as soon as the second driver took over the wheel, the game became extremely laggy, making it impossible to continue the race. We tried leaving and rejoining, but unfortunately ended up with a DNF.

I’m attaching the trace file for analysis.

Our team experienced the following issues:

-TYRE CHANGE: NEW was selected but during the pit stop old qualy tyres were put on the car, not the newest option we had.
-DAMAGE: Got clipped by a hyper and lost the rear wing. Went into pits, 73sec REPAIR ALL and left the pits again but the wing did not feel fixed. The car was still driving exactly as it was without the wing. It was like the damage showed repaired but was actually not repaired at all. That was the end of our race with 1hr30min to go :-(
-DRIVER SWOP: On of our other teams did a driver swop but the new driver had no control, only visuals. It was the end of their race too.

All for the testing of the sim before going live. The team will happily join in on the next tests to get LMU endurances going.

But we still beat them after they int themselves trying to block us for 5 laps in a row. Some idiot named Kennedy in a hello kitty LMDH.

Can we be a bit more contructive and post some diagnostic infomation rather than just a rant about this test? Afterall.... testing is what this test was all about. You should probably wait for the ones that aren't tests.

I had the bug where I couldn't join the special events at all. The selection screen was blank for me throughout the whole day of the event (Saturday). One workaround was using a mobile hotspot and then I could join the event, but the ping and stability was not sufficient to stay in the lobby.
 
Another problem we experienced during the race, was, that the display of damage in the little car avatar did not correspond with the repair setting in the pitstop settings. Sometimes, the car had no visible damage, but repairs were selected. And sometimes it was the other way around. The later happens also in solo races and is Okay for minor damages, but this time the damage indicator was orange and the car handling deterioration was noticable.

We had experienced 1 screen freeze at beginning of Europe 4PM Start race, it quickly corrected and we had no other issues for our 2nd team race USA Est 17:00. Overall, I believe this was very Successful Weekend, look forward to the next event/s.

I logged into the server and the system says "vehicle not present". try it restart everything but the
problem remains

Very often this error happens when your name has changed between registration and now, any chance that's the case?
