But surely this is to be expected? I love the dash’s and what the plug in brings to the game, and all the hard work that’s gone into them, but at the end of the day, it’s an unofficial plug in. It’s caused crashes for me and many others, it’s just how it is until the devs implement full telemetry support. It’s a work around. A brilliant, flawed work around, that’s probably going to break at every minor update…
 
It's unfortunate that this hasn't been implemented yet but in a similar fashion to rF2 the creator will eventually get fed up of having to keep updating their work after every game update and eventually move on to other things.

I’m by no means dissing plugin creators, but the work on the dashes won’t be wasted when the data is finally made available natively and appears in SimHub. I’ll certainly be grabbing them!

At this point we can only 'hope' it gets implemented, it was something requested in rF2 for a while and never saw the light of day so I don't feel quite as optimistic but let's wait and see.
 
It’s easy: for me I do not play the game when I can not use my rig. It’s rediculous that there is no support for actual hardware.

I hope they understand the problem and will solve it asap.
 
Are you not playing the game because the plugin is not working?

Random scenario: Tomorrow S397 decides to do shorter development cycles and release more hot fixes, like one in every 1-2 weeks. And the telemetry fix will be postponed for at least a year, because of other reasons. What would you do, continue playing this cat & mouse game or have fun and race?

I really hope they release a general fix soon! But to be fair, there is no real problem. Only current problem is the one you guys created yourself. Not meant badly, just the way it is I think.

Yes. For me it makes no sense to play a game when i can not see the important informations on my Monitor/Dash. And i will not tear down my Rig just to have a clear view on the monitor, and put my technical equipment in the sideboard, cause they are not willing to give us the telemetry data, which is necessary and nothing "uncommon" in 2025. Every other sim i play does it without problems.

So i spend my time with other stuff. i play in a basketball team, have a 11 yrs old boy, a house for which i have to take care of, i have DCS, RoN and other stuff which i play with my friends...no need to play a game which doesnt fit the requirement of 2025.

If you want to simulate something (HY / GT3) than do it right.

From this aside, i think LMU (i was 5 yrs race circuit trainer and know somehow the cars feel) did a great job with a absolut incredible driving experience.

I have been away from LMU for a few weeks, just sat down and wanted to do a video, and the dashes don't work :(
I hope s397 decide to work on the full integration with Simhub. I also find it strange that they respond to so many, frankly useless comments in the discord with memes and nonsense but nothing here on their own official forums.
Let's the telemetry is on their to do list
