Custom Liveries

They just load like in most games, you can edit livery in the game, and it has photo mode etc, know all stuff other guys have fone for years
 
Yes. You Download liveries before joining a server. That's what I said.
But how do you know wich liveries you have to download beforehand, when you don't know who is on the server?
 
You do not have to download anything in ACC< they just appear and you see them, you cannot use them, you have to create your own with the livery creator that is with the game
 
No. They don't just appear. I am not talking of the skin I use, but of the ones the other's on the server use.

I'm fully aware how to make your own skin in ACC. Did it for League Racing. I got the Skins of the other contenders of the League by dowloading them beforehand. I knew who would be on the server.

Exactly that does the LFM Livery Tool, but only for LFM races. It looks who will be in your Split and downloads the Skins.
But to use your own, you have to pay.

But you say that you get custom skins of your oppenents on random servers without downloading them beforehand?
Or that your oppenents are able to see your custom design without loading it up for them to download?
 
You can either apply one in the Livery Hub or make your own, or download one from, e.g.

You put the two files from the download into this folder -

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Liveries

And then create a new car in the game and it will apply the skin. You can also play around with the skins you've downloaded in programs like Gimp.

Ok so far so good but the livery has been assign to a created team . So you can’t race with the team in any race but in a created for team host server . Do you now how to assign the livery to a single car when I want to race with a McLaren let’s say at sebring in a fixed 20 min online race those that LMU servers weekly creates ?
 
No, you can race in that team in any race or practice, online or offline. When you race online, does the name of your team appear in the list?
 
I can't demonstrate with an online race as the weekly changeover has started. But here are the basics for offline -

Go to liveries and select a livery, e.g. one you have downloaded and added. Apply it to your team. Select it in the car selection screen for your event.

Thanks for your kindly replies. Although that I have a race pro license when I want to assign in a team livery via race control it said to me that the team has no license pro . So in order to assign via race control a skin i must have a pro license as a team racer or as a single racer ? This was weird to me.
 
You must have a pro license to use custom liveries in single player races like the daylies.

I do have a race control pro license that does not allow me to download and place skin in my team because it allows to put a skin only in a team how this is happening?
 
Did you create the team (or are manager), where you want to assign the livery to?
I don't know it, but maybe you have to make a lineup first?

Has I have create a team . I want to implement a skin in an McLaren to race at online fixed weekly schedule by LMU .
How to make the lineup in an online race
