Info Required [Circuits] Track Limits adjustments MEGATHREAD

Further information and reports are needed to assist development with a fix
I'm not sure if I should go here, but I got a DT for track limits, I served it, and after leaving the pits it still wasn't served. I had a look at the results XML and saw that I had two penalties (I also see that I received 2 warning points without being aware of it).

You don't stop at your pit for a DT. You drive through the pits without stopping.
I know, I know. Now I also know that the second DT was for passing the pit box entry line. Is not hat is bug, just a coincidence receiving DT while I was doing the first one.

I’ve noticed some players achieving unusually fast lap times (2:12s – low 2:13s) during wet races at Bahrain. After reviewing a few replays, it appears these times are being achieved by consistently abusing track limits.

The current system does not seem to be issuing penalties for these infractions in the wet, allowing drivers to gain a significant time advantage every lap. I have recorded a video demonstrating the specific areas where the track limits are being bypassed without consequence:

Clip @ Bahrian Daily Ranked Races:

In this instance, the driver was able to maintain a 2:12 pace for 7-8 consecutive laps by exploiting these gaps in the penalty system. Is this a known bug with the wet-weather track limit logic, or is a fix planned for the next update?

Track limits setting: Daily races
Description: No video, but turn 1 in rain, you can go insanely wide, until the barrier and cut turn 2/3, rejoin and don't even get a warning or a message track limits are evaluated. Huge exploit.
Unfortunately, did not save a video ...

Further commentary: Yellow then becoming green, thereby valid lap. As proposed already, I strongly suggest that ALL green track limits always give 0.1 penalty points (even when giving back the time) as the system can be abused and a better track limit system is probably not possible to be implemented. This would allow a driver to have 30 green cut tracks, which is more than enough and allows for a couple of yellow cut tracks too.

In Portimao, Daily Silver race (dry condition), split 1 (at 3.30 PM EST - Jan/11/2026), a lot of track limit abuse between Turn 7 and 8 by the #1 (every laps) et #2 (didn't check if he did every lap, but he did a few) in the GT3 category. No abuse by the LMP3 and LMP2.

All laps were valid and not cutted. Its (in my opinion) a huge exploit if you do it like the McLaren here in the picture on all laps (yep... he did it in EVERY lap during the race...) as long as its wet.

Hello, does anyone still pay attention to this thread?

Bigly inconsistent track limit policing at COTA. Sometimes get struck while having tires on white line, other time can exit track and Eduardo is fine with it.
