Are car contacts weighted all the same?

when you race side by side especially at the start or through a corner a bit of trading paints is pretty common but judging by the abysmal amount of SR i'm gaining even after a good race it looks like small touches have the same effect on SR gain/loss of big impacts resulting in cars spinning and going off track

in ACC small touches are not even registered has contacts and in iracing are valued 0-2x instead of 4 incident points
 
What was wrong with posting this in your other thread you started? We get it, you don’t like the SR system in LMU. I’d suggest joining Discord to ask the devs directly about it but I doubt their answers would be sufficient for you either.

As in the other thread, most of us are gaining SR just fine. Look at your own driving or exploit the system and just drive around cleanly at the back of the grid if you’re so worried about your SR.

No. Very small touches are shown in the summary but have zero SR impact.

what's wrong with creating a different thread for a different topic? i get it, you don't like my criticism, i'd suggest joining Discord or other threads to talk to ppl you only agree with but i doubt that would be sufficient for you since you just posted here
