A slider for tire-noise, and one for road-noise

There are very few options to adjust the sound to my liking, It is lots-of engine add the moment.
I would like more audio feedback from my tires, The sound of the tires is hardly audible now, If you block you can hear something, but especially the sound of scrubbing tires I miss,
(I think/hope that this sound will be a great addition to the unconnected feeling that the FFB gives at low speeds)

I too, prefer to have more control over individual sounds (RaceRoom - for example).

However, I find the audio in LMU to be mostly well balanced for what it is. The tire-scrub sound is very low pitched and that makes it harder to hear although, it does seem truer to life, just not loud enough, especially during intense racing action.

One thing to try might be reducing the in-car volume slider + increasing Master volume (to compensate for reduced engine volume). In theory, that will effectively increase other sounds but, it just depends how some samples / effects are mixed internally. Striking a good balance could be very tricky without upsetting other sound levels.

Another possible issue with sounds in general: be sure you have no outside (3rd party / windows) audio enhancements influencing the game audio spatial sound environment. In my experience (and I've tested this a lot in many titles with different hardware / software), It's always best to let the specific game sound-engine handle the spatial effects.
