Overall REALLY great overlay and tool! Good job. Okay some things I would love to see and I missed:
- Im running Triples, why are the overlays position screen specific? Its a pain to arrange, when trying to get some over to an outer screen. Them being free in their position would be way more...
Same here, VRS wheelbase. Only thing you can do is prevent bottoming out as much as possible, get the car up, maximize 3rd springs and hope for the best
Feature idea: An automated stint planner that takes data from uploaded practices sessions (maybe also manually select sessions to not take into account). It automatically fetches data like tire wear, fuel usage, lap times, track and weather state. Then after input of the actual race data, it...
Just an idea. Now that we have car model via API, what if all dashboards get put into one, one file to download, no need to assign every single livery to a dashboard in simhub, just load one, have it all.
Also would make download and have all.up to date waaay more easy.
Why do you want an input in shared memory? Whats the purpose?
Fuel ratio is literally fuel usage divided by VE usage per lap. Knowing your current real ratio is whats important
Go into the Rear Axle section and try lowering Yaw Kick percentage and/or increasing threshold and response. That settings is the one affecting curbs and bumps.
Something weird is going on. I noticed it a couple of times now. When the session switches to Race, the FFB gets duller, feels like damping was added ontop. Its not happening everytime though. This time I added a log that starts in Qualy. At the end there should be half a lap into the race.
Does the ingame strength setting even affect lmuFFB? I feel like it does not. Even with 45% set ingame, i can manage to push the base waaay beyond that in LMUFFB. For example im running these settings with 45% ingame:
My goal here was to get in the ballpark of my former ingame FFB strength...
The thing with turning it off is, that it eliminated road feel completely for me. That feels just numb and dead. Like a 2010 belt driven wheel on NFS. And I'm on VRS 20NM. So for every car/track combo it like to dial it in in a way curbs and bumps don't destroy my hands. BTW it's even setup...
Just tried it on a GT3, noticed no difference on my VRS base. But also I didnt have any problems with my latest settings after Ive found what settings do what in terms of bumps
Go into the Rear Axle section and try lowering Yaw Kick percentage and/or increasing threshold and response. That settings is the one affecting curbs and bumps. This is what Im using, but its on a DD:
For the braking I recommend disabling all vibration effects. Especially slip and ABS ones
