    Suddenly gained time on straight

I was consistent in my laptimes continously two tenth up and down...just doing the "boring" laps to finish the race. Pilots in front were too quick and raced away from me and behind the track was empty. I did not make a mistake at that part in a previous lap: onto the straight, gearing up to 6th...

    Suddenly gained time on straight

Offline race at Le Mans at hosted server: After the playsation chicane i was stable at + 0:20. And all of a sudden i gained massive time: - 0:400. Just going on the straight, 6th gear, no slipstream (cars were 1.5 seconds in front of me), no cars behind me. How??

    MOZA R9 V1 P1 car Oscillation

Moza R9 V1 + KS wheel. For my feeling i have tried everything but nothing takes away the severe oscillation on straights at high speed. Ingame: FFB Strength = 50% FFB Smoothing: the higher the number the more severe oscillation happens Additional FFB effects = 10% (no influence on oscillation)...

    Hosted server time left

Would be nice to see in the server screen how much time is left per session.

    V 1.4 speculation

What did i miss? Did S397 annouce the IMSA lisence and revoked the announcement afterwards?

Why don't we have reasonable Practice sessions?

Next to offline mode, which is the ultimate trainer for any sitiuation there are enough hosted training servers. And the racecraftlevel between a rated practice server vs a hosted non rated server is the same. I did a full stint practice at Spa dodging all crazy happenings on track which is also...

Track surface change, change in FFB?

Yesterday i had this weird experience. I have done some wet races and i know the FFB feels much "lighter" than when its dry. I guess the grip of the tire is translated to the ffb force. Same for cold tires vs warm tires. Yesterday i raced on a hosted server and the qualy was on "damp - wet"...

    G Challenge results manipulation

Ah cheating, the invisible enemy of online gaming and real life sports. Irl everybody is looking for this "invisble cheat" wether it is sandbagging during qualy, a tiny adjustment in engines or this injection the stewards wont see in pee. It happens, also in LMU. There are serious prices to be...

    Offline practice for daily races

Well, maybe S397 should create "Arcade race" servers without damage, no tire wear and no fuel. All assists on and not hooked up to SR rating. A server where people can do whatever they want. Wanna go Bronze, silver and further, you have to prove yourself worthy by offline practice to learn the...

I think we need a big weight penalty using driving aids

Men...never thought about assists. First thing i turn off after installation of a racegame. I'll have a go and do some tests myself.

Differences between Le Mans in LMU and in reality

Differences between Le Mans in LMU and in reality

Is it easier for a casual gamer on a PC to in a LMP1 car and race 100 laps on Spa and step into a real LMP1 car and race the same laptimes or is it easier for a LMP1 driver to race 100 laps in real on Spa and step behind a PC?

Differences between Le Mans in LMU and in reality

Factorio tried to simulate fluids and till now they failed. To purely simulate 1 single tire it will take a supercomputer. Look at all racegames: AMS, 3RE, rF2, Ac, ACC, Iracing, AMS 2, LMU, most use different game engines and all devs try to replicate the same: as close to reality as they can...

Differences between Le Mans in LMU and in reality

Im not a programmer, i have really no clue. And all i think is: how do you program gravity...or air (density) ingame? How would you simulate these entities in a game? And im curious why gamers think you should be as fast as real manufacturer drivers? Is this game really all about "the fastest"...

Differences between Le Mans in LMU and in reality

For me the biggest difference between real life and the game is the technical reliability of the cars and tires. Ingame: if you dont hit another structure, other than kerbs, nothing will break on the car. Suspension wont suddenly break or a tire wont explode, no sudden brake faillure and...
