The (real) question is:
Can we edit these positions in some file?
The most annoying part is that they are not saved but always revert back to "the stupid values"
The seat positions are quite different (if not erratic) in various cars of LMU.
That's the main reason why the "correct" FOV is often perceived as "wrong".
The way to go is to find the correct FOV and pitch then finally adjust the seats in all cars.
The US tracks clearly show that we are not locked in with just WEC!
(although the fanboys, fangirls and fangrandfathers in this forum try to make us believe that we are)
Clearly they forgot to put in a bullet point for cheating in general.
or it might be in some other more general rule. I won't bother to look it up
One of OP's main points, btw., was that cheating is "allowed" in daily races as per the rules.
Cool.
More ppl should see this. I only found it by accident because it went into "What's new"
The Info/Warning on the very top sems a bit weird as is.
Most of the time it says
On the edge — no margin for another lap.
But that's what we want, isn't it.
Trying to make it "safer" by adding a...
My takeaway is that the calculation SHOULD BE ADJUSTED.
An early DNF says (almost) nothing about driving standards, yet it's impact on the badge is immense
You did not state which processes use the CPU (Check in Task Manager or Process Lasso)
Could be some rogue helper app, like the Fanatec Service that keeps logging Gigabytes
Oh, wow. 🇺🇸
So, it is to be expected that they do the 3 packs again!?
(Each pack has 2 tracks then, for those who are struggling to follow :ROFLMAO: ).
Two key things here:
1) People always remember and cite the outliers. (like the OPs "data", loosing 40 then gaining 3.6) there is always cognitive bias at play.
also note that different races have different multipliers
2) If the game would do a better job presenting the rating (e.g. as a...
What you and others don't seem to get:
Top drivers IRL extract (very close to) the maximum pace out of a car.
Top sim racers extract (very close to) the maximum pace out of a simulated car.
=> a comparison makes sense
If you compare Estre IRL and Wigg1es in sim you learn less about the pace...
I was referring to these 1.3.3 patch notes
I guess it just refers to baked in occlusion.
But where is the real ambient occlusion (like SSAO)
The 'game' would instantly look better.
